The Recipe (5min)
Ingredients

2 tbsp Zenbasil seeds and 1/2 Cup of Hot Water

1 tsp Extra virgin olive oil

5 Medjool dates, pitted

1 tbsp Raw cacao powder (unsweetened, 100%, cold processed and free from heavy metals)

2 tbsp Flaxseed meal

3 tbsp Hemp protein powder

1 tbsp Tahini
-
1 tbsp MCT oil

1/8 tsp Ceylon cinnamon

2 tbsp Shredded coconut
-
1 Banana
- Pinch of Salt (optional - definitely add it if you already sweat or plan to sweat during the day!)

Instructions
1. In a bowl, stir in the Zenbasil seeds and hot water, and let sit for 3 minutes to gel. Add the olive oil and stir again to mix it all.
2. In another bowl or food processor (the NutriBullet is also an option), combine the medjool dates, banana (optional to keep it on the side like I did on the picture), tahini, MCT oil, flax meal, hemp protein, cacao, cinnamon, and coconut. Blend or mash until smooth.
3. Add the flax meal, hemp protein, cacao, cinnamon, and coconut. Mix well until fully combined.
4. Place everything in the same bowl on the Zenbasil seeds mix. Top with any optional extras and enjoy slowly, mindfully.
Tip: I recommend enjoying this after a light movement session—a walk, gentle yoga, or a workout—to support blood sugar balance and nutrient uptake best.
